Niviem Partner Program
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we get most. If yours is not on the list, write to partners@niviem.net and we will reply.

How do I apply?

Applications open at launch. Drop your email on the Notify page and we will email you the moment they do. The application form takes about five minutes and asks for your channel/site links, audience focus, and a one-line note about how you plan to share Niviem.

How long does approval take?

Two to five business days, normally. We review every application by hand. We will email you either way — approval, rejection, or a request for more information.

Do I need a specific audience size?

No. Quality of audience matters more than raw size. A 2,000-subscriber channel where viewers actually buy plugins is more valuable than a 50,000-follower account that scrolls past audio content.

How is commission calculated?

On net revenue — the money we actually keep after VAT, payment processor fees, refunds and chargebacks. The exact formula and a worked example live on the Commission & payouts page.

What is the commission rate?

New partners start at a default rate that is competitive with the audio plugin industry. Larger audiences and proven review history can be negotiated higher. Launch campaigns typically include a commission boost during the first 1–2 weeks of a new plugin release.

When do I get paid?

Monthly. Each commission has a 30-day refund hold period from the date of sale. After the hold clears, the commission moves into the next monthly payout batch.

What is the minimum payout?

50 EUR. Anything below that rolls over to the next month — your balance does not expire.

How are payments delivered?

Payoneer, PayPal, or bank transfer, depending on your country and what you set in your dashboard payout settings. EUR currency. We cover the conversion cost on Payoneer/PayPal where applicable.

What happens if a sale is refunded?

If a refund happens during the 30-day hold period, the commission is reversed before it ever clears. If a refund happens after payout, it is deducted from the next batch. Already-paid commissions on cleared sales are not retroactively reversed.

Can I use my own code on my own purchase?

No — that is the one rule we enforce strictly. Self-purchases are an automatic red flag and recurring abuse leads to suspension. If you want a free plugin to demo or review, request an NFR (non-for-resale) license from your dashboard.

Can my code expire?

Yes, by default. Codes have a 90-day validity, with a 30-day overlap window when you generate a renewal — old YouTube descriptions keep converting while you update fresh content with the new code. Trusted launch partners can be moved to a no-expiry code on request.

Can I run paid ads on Niviem brand keywords?

Not without written permission. Brand keyword bidding is the easiest way to fight with our own paid traffic and is the most common reason for partner suspension across the plugin industry. If you have a specific paid-ads plan you would like cleared, write to us first.

Do I need to disclose the affiliate relationship?

Where local law or platform rules require it, yes. YouTube and most blog platforms ask for some disclosure. A simple line like "This may include a Niviem partner code; if you use it I may earn a commission" works on most platforms.

Can I promote outside YouTube?

Yes — blogs, newsletters, podcasts, forums, Discord, Instagram, TikTok, your own site. Anywhere your audience already pays attention to you. The only places your code should not appear are coupon-aggregation sites (RetailMeNot, Honey, Slickdeals, etc.).

Can I cover both free and paid Niviem plugins?

Yes. Free plugins are an excellent funnel — they bring people to niviem.net for the first time and your code can convert paid follow-up purchases. Commission only applies to paid sales.

What if I want to leave the program?

Email us, we close your account, your code stops working, your final balance gets paid out on the next monthly batch (subject to the 50 EUR minimum and the 30-day hold). No drama, no exit penalty.
